Native Grasses of Perth Hills: a field guide to identification

Author: Una Bell

From the book:

Native grasses are an integral part of our flora, but few people can recognise a native grass.... This study aims to highlight the most common 48 species of native grass in the Perth Hills region. Correct identification is important if you are weeding bushland or removing any grasses, or if you are involved in revegetation projects and wish to use native grasses.

Drawings of the grasses were made at the W.A. Herbarium using vouchered specimens. The drawings are teamed with life-sized photocopies of specimens from collections made for earlier works on native grasses... Photocopies of introduced grasses are also included.
